Greek giants Olympiakos are targeting a move for Fulham and Costa Rica forward Bryan Ruiz, according to the Daily Mail.
The 28-year old Costa Rica international has attracted the interest from Olympiakos following his terrific displays at this years World Cup in Brazil in which his nation was knocked out by Holland.
Ruiz joined Fulham in 2011 from FC Twente for £10 million but has failed to live up to his promise and is regarded as an expensive flop by the London side’s fans.
The forward has made 68 league appearances for Fulham and spent the latter half of this past season on loan to Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven.
Ruiz currently has one year left on his contract at Craven Cottage but it is believed that Olympiakos are willing to offer him a route out of English football but will not offer a fee for him.
It is not known as to how Fulham will respond to this offer but they will be hoping to recoup some of the £10 million paid for him following his superb displays in the World Cup
