‘Ollie is doing worse than Hasselbaink’ – QPR fans comment on key figure’s tweet

After QPR’s draw with Sunderland on Saturday a report suggested Ian Holloway could be sacked if his side failed to beat Bolton next time around.

However, co-chairman Tony Fernandes took to Twitter to dismiss those rumours yesterday evening.

The story came from The Sun and would’ve been surprise to many R’s fans, who will crave the stability that Fernandes has said they’ll deliver.

It would also appear to be a very harsh decision, with the West London side sitting 15th and having endured terrible luck with injuries so far this season.

After a turbulent few years on and off the pitch, those involved with the club would be better served giving Holloway time to shape the team as he wants.

Thankfully for the majority of fans, there seems to be no imminent worry surrounding the ex-Blackpool manager’s future and many took to Twitter to praise Fernandes statement. Although, there were a few contrasting opinions.
