Swansea City travel to the South Coast to face Brighton and Hove Albion in the League Cup on Wednesday evening with Russell Martin set to shake up his starting XI.

The Swans built some momentum at the weekend with an improbable comeback to draw 3-3 at Luton Town after going 3-0 down inside 23 minutes.

Despite the extremely concerning opening exchanges to the match, the manager has seemed upbeat since believing that his players are gradually buying into his possession based philosophy.

In looking to keep everyone happy there will be plenty of squad rotation for Wednesday evening's encounter and for that reason we are predicting eight changes to the XI that started at Kenilworth Road.

Swansea could pull on their third kit with their home and away kits white and blue to which the Seagulls wear at home.

The eight predicted changes are as follows: out - Ryan Bennett, Kyle Naughton, Rhys Williams, Flynn Downes, Matt Grimes, Ryan Manning, Liam Walsh and Jamie Paterson, in - Joel Latibeaudiere, Brandon Cooper, Ben Cabango, Olivier Ntcham, Jay Fulton, Jake Bidwell, Yan Dhanda and Morgan Whittaker.

Brighton fielded an extremely young side in their victory over Cardiff City in the previous round and will likely do the same again. Meaning a Swansea second string should face a competent opposition that they can get the better of on Wednesday evening.
