Sheffield United recently completed the signing of striker, Oliver McBurnie on a four-year-deal from Swansea City.

The forward made 62 appearances across a four-year spell with the Swans, where his impressive performances from last years league campaign didn't go unnoticed.

The Welshman scored 22 league goals for the Swans last season as they finished 10th in the Championship league table, and a move to the Premier League would have been too good of an opportunity to turn down.

He'll be hoping that he can adjust to the physical demands of the top-flight as soon as possible, as he looks to guide Sheffield United to a strong position in their first season back in the Premier League.

McBurnie will face stiff competition for his starting spot at Bramall Lane though, with the likes of David McGoldrick and Billy Sharp likely to be challenging him for a place in Chris Wilder's matchday squad.

The forward could be in line to make his debut for the Blades in their first game of the season against AFC Bournemouth next weekend.

Swansea will be hoping they can cope without their star striker in their season opener against Hull City on Saturday, in what will be a tough test for Steve Cooper in his first competitive game in charge of the Swans.

The Verdict:

He could thrive at Sheffield United under Chris Wilder's guidance.

McBurnie has proven himself at Championship level, and is more than deserving of a move to the Premier League this season.

If he can hit the ground running in the top-flight, then the Blades will have a striker with a bright future ahead of him, which could see him play a key role for them in the Premier League for years to come.
