Aston Villa will be looking to finish this season strong whilst there is still a chance that they can make it into the play-offs.
It’s been a bit of a tough ride for them this season with turmoil involving Steve Bruce and then Dean Smith coming in and having to try and hit the ground running.
He did appear to do that, but since things have become a little inconsistent – with Jack Grealish’s injury a far from ideal moment in the campaign.
One of the best players in the league, Grealish has been an exciting talent for many years now, but he’s not the only good attacking player Villa have had in their midst.
Indeed, our Instagram Snoop has been filing through old photos of certain EFL stars and he stumbled across this of Grealish and now-Preston striker Callum Robinson:
Robinson was a youth player at Villa, much like Grealish, and it’s clear that they were very close to one another.
Robinson has gone on to be a very decent attacker for Preston, too, so imagine how sharp Villa’s attack might be had he stayed put and made the same progression.
A pipe dream now, of course.
