It was yet another disappointing afternoon for Aston Villa on Saturday, as they fell to a 3-0 home defeat to Swansea City in the third round of the FA Cup.

After an underwhelming 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers on New Year's Day, the Villans were looking to take a break from their dismal league form of late, and get back to winning ways against the Swans having won just one of their last six league games.

As expected, Villa boss Dean Smith made a host of changes to the side that drew with the R's - goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic made his debut for the club, whilst Scott Hogan was given a chance to impress up front under the manager he flourished under at Brentford.

But it proved to be yet another disappointing afternoon for the West Midlands club - Nathan Dyer and Courtney Baker-Richardson netted for Graham Potter's men, Hogan was taken off on 72 minutes before Jay Fulton put the final nail in Villa's coffin.

Hogan will see it as a missed opportunity to earn a regular starting berth, especially with rumours linking prolific forward and top goalscorer Tammy Abraham away from the club. Here, we take a look at Villa fans' reactions to Hogan's performance...
