‘Offers nothing’ – Many West Brom fans left disappointed by 23-year-old’s performance vs Derby

It was another frustrating night for West Brom as they were held to a goalless draw at home to Derby County.

The Baggies were held to another home draw after their stalemate with Millwall at the weekend, and were unable to take their chances last night.

Valerien Ismael’s side produced a dominant display, having 65% of the ball over the 90 minutes and having 25 shots in total.

In the first half, Karlan Grant sliced a relatively easy chance off target following a short corner routine, whilst Kelle Roos produced an unbelievable save to deny Darnell Furlong’s diving header late on.

But in the end, the points were shared, much to the frustration of Ismael and Baggies fans who had attended the Hawthorns.

Grant started in a wide right position, but was replaced at half-time by Jordan Hugill who moved into more of a central role.
