Charlton Athletic signed Aiden McGeady on-loan from Sunderland last month.

The Irishman who's represented the likes of Celtic, Spartak Moscow, Everton and Sunderland will spend the remainder of the season at The Valley, and he could be in-line to make his debut at Stoke City tomorrow.

McGeady, 33, had not featured for Sunderland in almost two months when he joined Charlton, and fans have been impressed with the acquisition.

He's a reputable player with a vast amount of experience in some of Europe's top-leagues. He'd scored four goals in 15 League One appearances for Sunderland this term, but wasn't favoured by new manager Phil Parkinson.

As Sunderland chase promotion, Charlton will look to avoid relegation from the Championship - they sit in 19th going into the weekend, and head into a massive game at the bottom of the table against Stoke.

Matthew Jones: Off the bench tomorrow, last 20-minutes.

Peter Barratt: Let's see how the game goes but would start him on the bench.

Martin Hammond: Depends on how he's done in training this week.

Tim Sully: Bring him on once Andre and Lyle have run them ragged.

Lisa Norman: I think Aiden will start.

Andy Macca: Bring him on for Williams in the second-half once we are 2-0 up.

Dave Mead: This man is fit as, proper looks after himself always has done.
