Birmingham City youngster Odin Bailey has reacted to the news that he will face six weeks out injured.
The January transfer window saw Bailey completed a loan move to Forest Green Rovers. and the highly rated youngster had been making a good impression with the League Two side, netting once his opening five league games.
The 20-year-old has been with parent club Birmingham since Under-7 – has been progressing through the club’s various youth ranks, and his development was felt in the first team after scoring a late winner against Middlesbrough earlier this season.
A short term loan move to Rovers acted as the perfect chance for Bailey to gain regular football – but the attacking midfielder has now been ruled out for six weeks with an injury.
Reacting to the news via his official Twitter account, Bailey ensured fans that he would bounce back from his recent setback.

Alongside Jude Bellingham, Bailey is one of the Blues top academy prospects, and boss Pep Clotet will be hoping to have both available next season at the club.
Bailey does have a future at Birmingham, but it was quite surprising that Clotet allowed him to leave – rather than give him some more first team chances.
His winning goal against Middlesbrough earlier in the season should have acted as a potential kick start to his career, but the youngster will have to be strong willed to ensure that this setback does not halt his development.
Birmingham are slowly but surely returning to form this season, and the future, for now, at least – is looking good for the Blues.
