Many Birmingham City fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that the club will be playing West Bromwich Albion in a pre-season friendly.
It comes as part of a three-fixture announcement by the Blues, with other games having been scheduled against Barrow and Oxford United as they look to prepare for the 2021/22 campaign.
The two Midlands clubs last met back in June of last year as they played out a 0-0 draw at the Hawthorns as the Baggies made their way towards promotion to the Premier League.
And they will now renew rivalries during the upcoming season, with Albion having re-joined the Blues in the Sky Bet Championship after suffering relegation from the top flight.
Naturally the news of this announcement prompted quite the reaction amongst the Birmingham fanbase, with many taking to social media to air their views on the news.
