Sunderland have made a great start to their Sky Bet League One campaign so far under the guidance of Lee Johnson at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats are currently well in the early running for the promotion places and are thriving through putting together a squad that has a great blend of youth and experience.
Johnson and his staff got most of their business done quickly and will no doubt be pleased with what they have seen so far from their several new recruits.
With winter fast approaching on the horizon, the Sunderland boss now has to decide if he wants to bring in anymore fresh faces, whilst there is also the possibility of there being some departures further down the line as well.

Here, we take a look at TWO Sunderland transfer scenarios that could materialise in the January window…
O’Brien to leave?
It was well publicised over the summer that Aiden O’Brien came close to signing for Doncaster Rovers on loan before a deal between the two third tier clubs broke down.
The former Millwall striker has since been involved sparingly under Johnson, largely featuring in the cup competitions as opposed to in the league.
Despite his significant lack of minutes, O’Brien already has four goals to his name in his opening nine games across all competitions and also has two assists to boot.
Now into the final 12 months of his contract with the Black Cats, the forward could well push for a move once again when January rolls around.
Wright to depart?
Bailey Wright was another Sunderland player that was strongly linked with a departure over the summer, with the ambitious Wigan Athletic said to have held an interest.
Alas a move for the Australian never came to fruition and he stayed put at the Stadium of Light and has since thrived again under Johnson.
However there does still remain a possibility that the Latics could revisit a move for the centre back at the turn of the new year.
With Wright also into the final 12 months on his contract, the Black Cats will be wary of getting him tied to a new deal if at all possible.
