Hull City continued their strong start to the League One season on Saturday afternoon, as they beat Burton Albion 2-0 at the KCOM Stadium.

Up against a Burton side languishing at the wrong end of the table and hampered by self-isolation issues, the Tigers were strong favourites to take all three points, and were given another boost in their quest for the win early on, when Burton centre back Sam Hughes was sent off for a second bookable offence with just 18 minutes on the clock.

Even so, it took Hull until midway through the second half to open the scoring, Mallik Wilks firing home from inside the area after Burton failed to clear a free kick, before Hakeeb Adelukan sealed the points for Grant McCann's side with a decent long range strike into the bottom corner.

That goal from Wilks saw the striker continue his impressive start to the campaign, with that his seventh goal in 13 appearances in all competitions this season.

Indeed, plenty of Hull fans were keen to sing the praises of Wilks as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game, and here, we take a look at what some of them had to say about the 21-year-old.
