Leeds United are in the midst of a thoroughly exciting season and look well on their way to a long-awaited Premier League return.

Marcelo Bielsa must be given an awful lot of credit for how he has handled what has been a temperamental club in the past, galvanising the fans along the way.

With the January transfer window now in full swing, he will be under pressure to bring in new faces to bolster their squad.

But throughout the season we have seen him put faith in the club's youth players rather than dipping into the market.

Winger Jack Clarke, left-back Leif Davis and midfielder Jamie Shackleton have all been utilised in the first-team by Marcelo Bielsa this season with all three impressing and now another, in the form of Jack Jenkins, could be about to join them.

Jenkins has been a regular in the Whites' under-18 side this season, playing a pivotal role in their rise to the summit of their development league.

Given their brilliant track record with academy graduates this season, it was an announcement that unsurprisingly delighted the fans.
