Nottingham Forest are certainly one of the sides to watch this summer with the Reds looking very ambitious and, indeed, flush for this window.

Ambition is a fine quality to say you've got but showing it is something altogether different.

So far this summer, though, the men from the City Ground are coming good on their word and it looks as though there is plenty more where that's come from.

Indeed, according to Portuguese site A Bola, Forest are looking to bring in Montenegrin star Nikola Vukcevic from SC Braga.

Jorge Mendes is a man we're growing familiar with in the Championship after his work with Wolves last season and it looks as though he's planning to do the same with Forest in 2018/19.

He is apparently a figure in this potential deal and if it comes off, you'd not be surprised if we see him help a few more along later on in this window.

The Verdict

It might be no shock for Forest fans to learn that the Montenegrin is a central midfielder.

The middle of the park is an area Aitor Karanka clearly wants to improve upon for next season as he looks to strengthen the Reds' spine.

Let's see if the Portugal-based star becomes the latest to join the City Ground outfit.
