The 20-year-old racked up an impressive 13 goals and five assists during his spell with the League One side and will now be looking to break into the starting eleven under Chris Hughton at Forest next season.

A talented prospect for the future, Johnson has also received caps for Wales at international level and is rapidly developing into one of the best young players in the entire EFL at the time of writing.

He is said to have a long term deal which keeps him at Forest for now, but if his form continues in his current vein, it wouldn't be a surprise if Premier League suitors came calling in the near future as his reputation continues to go from strength to strength on Trentside.
