FLW's George Harbey will be live at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon, as Nottingham Forest prepare to take on Swansea City in a lunchtime kick-off.

Swansea leapfrogged Forest on the final day of last season, securing a last-gasp top-six finish before narrowly missing out on promotion following a semi-final defeat to Brentford.

The Swans will be looking to achieve another top-six finish this term, and have subsequently made a solid start to the 2020/21 campaign under Steve Cooper.

Forest, meanwhile, have started the season very poorly indeed. The Reds come into this one on the back of two successive away defeats to Barnsley and AFC Bournemouth.

Forest sit 20th in the Championship, 11 points off the play-offs and only three points clear of the relegation zone. Swansea, meanwhile, sit fourth in the league table, three points off second.

Here, then, we take you through everything you need to know ahead of Sunday's clash...

Team news:

Forest could be boosted with the return of three players ahead of this weekend's fixture.

Samba Sow, Michael Dawson and Lewis Grabban have been back in training and will be monitored ahead of Sunday, whilst Tyler Blackett and Joe Worrall have also trained.

Worrall and Blackett are very unlikely to feature, though, as are both Gaetan Bong and Luke Freeman who haven't trained since the defeat to Bournemouth in midweek.

From a Swansea perspective, Steve Cooper is set to monitor Andre Ayew and Marc Guehi, who recently returned from international duty early after picking up muscle injuries.

Ayew scored in the midweek draw against Sheffield Wednesday, and it remains to be seen whether the Ghana international is fit enough to start this weekend or not.

Elsewhere, Viktor Gyokeres and Jordon Garrick are both available for selection - the pair are back in training after having to self-isolate recently.

Stats & form

As alluded to before, Forest come into this one looking to return to winning ways having lost their last two games.

The Reds have won only three of their first 13 league games this term, scoring nine goals and conceding 16.

Swansea, meanwhile, are also looking to return to winning ways. Cooper's side drew 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, and have only lost one of their last eight games.

They've scored an impressive 15 goals this season, but have accrued less possession of the ball than Forest on average this season (50.6% compared to 51.5%).

Previous meeting:

These two sides met at the City Ground on matchday 44 of the Championship campaign last term.

Rhian Brewster opened the scoring for the Swans on eight minutes, but Sammy Ameobi equalised 12 minutes later.

Andre Ayew put his side back in front from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time, but Ameobi grabbed a second early in the second-half.

There was a chance for Forest to nick it late on and apply the pressure when Kyle Naughton was sent off on 82 minutes, but in the end, the spoils were shared.

View from the dugout:

Chris Hughton on Swansea: "They have been a good team in this division for a while now, they have got used to it with whatever manager and they have played in different ways and different formations.

“They are in good form and we have to look at it as another good challenge. We did that going into the Bournemouth game, it was a game that everybody looked forward to and I sense the same again."

Steve Cooper on Forest: "You look at Forest’s squad, and if you take away the teams that have come down who naturally have strong squads because they've been Premier League squads, they’ve got as strong a squad as anybody.

"That’s the team we’re playing and planning to play. A really tough game away from home and one we have to be more than ready for, and we will be."
