Despite uncertainty surrounding Sabri Lamouchi's position at Nottingham Forest, the club will be looking to be busy on the transfer front before the international window closes this afternoon.

It has been a busy summer for the Reds with 12 new signings arriving at the City Ground, and the priority will now be to trim the squad and offload the fringe players.

Here, we take a look at the latest transfer news and gossip surrounding Forest on Deadline Day...

Kamil Grosicki

Forest are reportedly set to complete the loan signing of Kamil Grosicki, who is set to leave West Brom and join Olympiacos on a permanent deal.

The Poland international has been unable to make an impact at the Hawthorns since his January arrival from Hull City, making only four starting league appearances thus far.

The 32-year-old is now set to join Olympiacos, as per Pete O'Rourke, with the Greek side then set to loan the winger to Forest.

Nuno da Costa

Royal Excel Mouscron are reportedly close to completing the signing of Nuno da Costa, as per DH Sports.

Da Costa arrived at the City Ground from RC Strasbourg in January, and is yet to find the back of the net in a Garibaldi shirt.

Mouscron are now closing in on the loan signing of the attacker, though, and it is claimed that the Belgian side will have an obligation to buy the 29-year-old at the end of his loan spell.

Serdar Dursun

Forest have been linked with the signing of SV Darmstadt striker Serdar Dursun, as per the Mirror (05/10, page 43).

The powerful striker, who scored 19 goals in 36 appearances for Darmstadt last season, has been heavily linked with a Derby County of late.

The Rams have tabled an offer of around £900,000 for the striker, but they are yet to meet Darmstadt's valuation of the player which is said to be around double of that.

He's set to play for Darmstadt tonight, which casts doubt on a potential departure before the transfer window closes.

Christian Atsu

Atsu has been linked with loan moves away from Newcastle United after being told that he is free to leave St. James' Park by Steve Bruce.

The Northern Echo claim that Forest have shown an interest in Atsu, but Watford, who are also said to be interested, are more likely to acquire his services before the window closes.

The Hornets have reportedly held talks with Newcastle ahead of a loan move for the winger, and a move to Vicarage Road could now be in the offing.

Yohan Benalouane

Aris Thessaloniki are set to complete the permanent signing of Yohan Benalouane before the transfer window closes, as per SDNA.

The defender has featured only twice under Lamouchi, and is behind the likes of Joe Worrall, Loic Mbe Soh and Scott McKenna in the pecking order on Trentside.

The 33-year-old looks set to join Aris before the window closes, though, with only a year left on his contract at the City Ground.
