Nottingham Forest to compete with Celtic for 21-year-old

Nottingham Forest are amongst a host of sides who are chasing Falkirk’s highly-rated youngster, Craig Sibbald, according to The Daily Record.

Sibbald is highly-rated in Scotland and with his contract up at the end of the season, and a compensation fee of around £180,000 expected, several clubs are on red alert.

The 21-year-old is free to sign a pre-contract deal with a team this month or Falkirk could choose to sell him if they want to accrue more that the £180,000 compensation fee.

Sibbald has been offered a new contract The Falkirk Stadium but he has stalled over signing, clearly making his intentions clear that he would like to leave to try and further his career.

After making his first team debut at the age of just 16 when Steven Pressley was in charge and he has gone on to make over 170 appearances for the Bairns.
