Nottingham Forest supporters face a nervous January transfer window with winger Joe Lolley being linked with a move to Premier League side, Watford.

According to the Daily Mail, Lolley could be the subject of a £5m bid from the Hornets in January, as they look to add more depth in their attacking options.

West Brom and Cardiff are also rumoured to be interested in the winger who has been in excellent form this season.

Lolley has played a crucial role in Nottingham Forest's promotion push this season and it will come as no surprise to see teams pursuing a deal for him.

The 26-year-old already has seven goals to his name for the Reds in this year's campaign, including a fine strike against Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.

Lolley was certainly one of the players who impressed in the thrilling 5-5 draw against Villa, as he scored one and assisted an incredible four times for Aitor Karanka's side as they battled back to earn a point at Villa Park.

The winger only signed for Nottingham Forest in January from Huddersfield but has certainly hit the ground running and he could be tempted to make the move back to the Premier League in January.

Forest will be desperate to hold on to their talisman who they will feel can play a vital role in their promotion ambitions this season.

The Verdict:

He has been one of the players of the season.

Not many Forest supporters would have predicted that Lolley would make such an impact in such a short space of time for the Reds.

But he has been a revelation in this Nottingham Forest side this season and I'm confident in saying that he will play a starring role in their side this season if he is to stick around at the City Ground until the end of this year's campaign.

I wouldn't begrudge him of a move, as he certainly has earned it.
