Nottingham Forest could be about to offload Dutch striker Lars Veldwijk, after just one season at the club, HITC Sport are reporting.
Ambitious Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle are keen to lure the Forest misfit back to his homeland, with some reports in Holland claiming an enquiry has already been made.
Zwolle finished sixth last season in the league and won the Dutch Cup in 2014 when they thumped Ajax 5-1 in the final. The reached the final again last season but lost out to Groningen.
They are hopeful of kicking on and becoming a mainstay at the top of Dutch football and have identified the Forest target man as a primary signing.
Despite an impressive goal tally of 31 goals in 41 games for Excelsior during the 2013/14 season, Veldwijk struggled to get to grips with the Championship last season and failed to find the net.
Zwolle may face competition from Brentford should they go for the Dutchman with the West London club also harboring interest in the player.
