Nottingham Forest are having a much better season this year in the Championship and that should be making the fans fairly happy.

The men from the City Ground have had a pretty good turnaround from last year and the work that the players and Mark Warburton have done should be rightly praised.

They are on the outskirts of the top six at the moment, then, and it would seem as though they could get into the play-off paying places if they can just get some consistency into their results.

For sure, though, it appears as though that is the aim for the Reds with Ben Brereton saying that the squad is aiming for the top six.

As quoted by the Nottingham Post, he said:

“I think the top six is a realistic goal for us, definitely. All the lads say that in the changing rooms. We all work so hard to get this club moving in the right direction and we all believe we can do it.”

Certainly, then, the Reds are pulling in the right direction all together at the moment and it would seem as though the squad is aiming high.

This should obviously please the fans, then, and if they can just cut out some of the defensive errors they'll be right up there.
