Nottingham Forest got themselves a much-needed win yesterday afternoon as they beat Burton Albion 2-0 with a pretty self-assured performance.
The Tricky Trees have been hot and cold this season but when they do play well they are a match for anyone in the league and proved too good for the men from the Pirelli Stadium yesterday. Certainly, it was much-needed after they lost to Derby County last weekend and now fans will be hoping a more consistent run of wins can be put together as they look to stay in touch with those top six places.
Armand Traore, then, was one of those to take to social media to reflect on the win and he also offered an upbeat update on the injury that saw him have to come off during the game. He wrote on his official Instagram account:
VERY important win. Gutted to have to come off. It was definitely the best thing to do imo as i dont think its bad. Well done TEAM !!!! Id also like to speak on behalf of the team and dedicate these important 3 points to my dude @dylaaanbarker and his family. Far from the eyes close to the heart. You hero ❤️
Clearly, then, Traore doesn’t think it is anything too bad and when a player says that it is usually something to be optimistic so he shouldn’t be out for long, if at all. Forest will hope that is the case, too, with him playing well this season and hopefully going to be a part of a side that begins to look more solid at the back.
Traore is a good option for Forest to have at left-back and he has proven this season that he can compete well at this level with whoever he comes up against.
The Reds need to be tighter at the back and were yesterday and they’ll hope Traore is not too injured so he can remain a part of that.
