Nottingham Forest fans can breathe a sigh of relief after the final day of the season.

Their 3-0 win over Ipswich Town on the final day of the season was just enough to keep them afloat in the Championship and avoid relegation to the third tier of English football.

Mark Warburton will be keen to oversee a summer reshuffle before the start of the 2017/18 campaign as they aim for a much-improved season.

Warburton has previously expressed his desire to scour the domestic market for his players and he might look to snap up some of the best talent in League One.

One player that he should be pursuing is Bury's Callum Styles.

Everton have previously been linked with the talented teenager but Forest should rival the Toffees.

The 17-year-old is already establishing himself as one of the most consistent performers in Bury's midfield and he has made 13 appearances this season after making his debut in the 2015/16 season.

The tidy midfielder could be tempted to join Nottingham Forest considering their policy of promoting youth players into the first team.

Ben Osborn, Matty Cash, Joe Worrall, Jordan Smith and Ben Brereton are a few examples of first team regulars who have emerged from the Nottingham Forest academy.

Styles will know that he will be given opportunities in the Nottingham Forest midfield and this would be a good next step in his career.

The former Burnley trainee is tipped for a big future and Forest could benefit from his potential as well as using him in their current midfield.
