Nottingham Forest are a team who are really finding it difficult this season, sitting in a very concerning 20th place in the table with only four wins in 15 games.

Nonetheless, times do look to be on the up for the East Midlands club with a takeover from the American businessman John Jay Moores imminent, putting an end to the disastrous era of Fawaz Al Hasawi.

Therefore, by the January transfer window, the new owners may be tempted to splash the cash and bring in some players who can really push Forest up the table.

Admittedly, the stance of the US owners in regard to transfers is unknown, but looking at some young players from top clubs such as Arsenal, a team with a number of hugely talented youngsters, could be a great move for both parties.

Here are TWO Arsenal players who Nottingham Forest should look to poach in January.....

Jeff Reine-Adelaide - Loan

Reine-Adelaide could really make himself known at a club like Nottingham Forest.

The 18-year-old's pace and skill is something the Reds have been without since current owner Fawaz Al Hasawi controversially sold Oliver Burke to RB Leipzig in the summer.

The Arsenal youngster played against Forest in the EFL Cup this season and was a constant menace throughout.

A move to the East Midlands would be perfect for Reine-Adelaide who would be keen to impress Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

Gedion Zelalem - Loan

The 19-year-old got his first shot at senior football when he moved to Rangers on loan last season, where he enjoyed a successful spell in the Scottish capital, helping them win promotion to the Scottish Premier League.

Zelalem's composed ability with the ball as well as his creativity would be perfect for Forest and would give the Reds another option in midfield.

With midfielders such as David Vaughan beginning to age, Zelalem would offer fresh legs in the midfield whilst getting the chance to impress Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
