Nottingham Forest are continuing their revival under Aitor Karanka in the Sky Bet Championship, as the City Ground’s new Spanish boss prepares his side for a promotion push next season.

Across the city, one of Forest’s own is staging a promotion push of his own, with Jorge Grant continuing to impress for Notts County in League Two.

Notts County currently sit third in the League Two table, with Kevin Nolan’s side in pole position to push on and secure the final automatic promotion place.

Grant has been key to helping County into that position, with the 23-year-old midfielder scoring 15 league goals in his second loan spell at Meadow Lane.

The on-loan Forest ace has also bagged a further three goals for Notts in the cup competitions, really showing his progression on his second loan spell away from the City Ground.

Here at FLW, we look at Grant in our latest FLW price-tag feature, coming to the conclusion that a player of the midfielder’s ability would be valued around the £3m mark by Forest, should they agree to sell him on.

On his return to Forest in the summer, Grant will have two years remaining on his deal with his parent-club and will be pushing for a chance under Karanka.

However, if that chance doesn’t look like coming, Grant could once again be on the move, with lower league clubs, and maybe even Championship clubs, sure to be willing to give the 23-year-old a shot.
