Porto winger Lica looks set to leave Portugal to seal a move to Nottingham Forest, according to Portuguese outlet Zero Zero.
Forest have been on the lookout for attacking options following the departure of Oliver Burke to Germany last week and it seems that a move for Porto wideman Lica is edging closer.
The 27-year-old joined the Portuguese giants back in 2013, moving from Estoril but he never managed to settle in the first team and has spent time on loan with the likes of Rayo Vallecano and Vitoria Guimaraes.
He netted five times in 29 appearances for Guimaraes last season, whom he spent the entire season with on loan. His contract runs out next summer and it’s thought Porto want to recoup some of the £1.25million they spent on the player three years ago.
Reports suggest the deal will be worth around £300,000 and he is set to sign today.
Forest manager Phillipe Montanier has already added ten new players to his squad this summer in what is set to be a new-look Forest team, after Mustapha Carayol and Nicolao Dumitru moved from Middlesbrough and Napoli on Tuesday evening.
Forest fans, are you impressed with the players that have come in to replace Oliver Burke? Can the likes of Carayol and Lica step up and lead a promotion charge? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
