Nottingham Forest have propelled themselves into the playoff picture with a good run of form which culminated in them defeating heavily fancied Middlesbrough at the Riverside last time out.

The Reds return to action next weekend against Norwich City looking to extend their run of form, and according to the Nottingham Post, the Reds could be boosted by the first sell-out of the season at the City Ground.

The crowds have already been good this season at home for Forest, who are yet to taste defeat on their own turf, and it looks like the Reds fans are set to turn out in their droves to cheer Aitor Karanka's men on against the Canaries, as the belief continues to grow that the club can make a run at promotion this term.

The Post reports that over 26,500 tickets have been sold for the game, meaning a sell-out is looking more than likely.

Aitor Karanka's men had been expected to challenge for the top two this season after a summer of big spending, and that thought appears to be becoming a reality of late, with the Reds finally looking like they are clicking into gear.

A big crowd will no doubt encourage the players further as they look to cement their place in the top six in the coming months.

Reds fans, excited for Saturday? Do you think the crowd will help or pressure the players? Let us know in the comments!
