Nottingham Forest's have stepped up their preparations for the new season since the appointment of Sabri Lamouchi late last month.

The Frenchman was appointed as Martin O'Neill's successor in late June, and he has quickly started his recruitment drive by bringing a host of players to the City Ground.

Albert Adomah, Arijanet Muric, Alfa Semedo, Yuri Ribeiro and Tiago Silva have all arrived at the club this month as Forest signal their intent ahead of the new Championship season.

The Reds lost a host of players due to contracts expiring and loans ending at the conclusion of last season, but the Forest squad is now shaping up ahead of the new campaign.

Here are some of the players' latest Instagram updates...

The Manchester City stopper joined on loan earlier this week, and he immediately linked up with his new team-mates to start staking his claim to a place in the side.

The Kosovo international is a real coup for Lamouchi's side, and he looks certain to seriously challenge Costel Pantilimon for the number one jersey.

Muric gained valuable experience as Ederson's understudy at City last season, and he should be an asset to Forest next season as he continues his development.

Alfa Semedo

The defensive midfielder joined Forest on a season-long loan earlier this week alongside Yuri Ribeiro, with both players arriving from Benfica.

Following the move, Semedo posted an image on his Instagram page of him posing next to a replica of the Champions League trophy, which Forest won in 1979 and 1980.

Semedo is a bright talent who will be looking to further his development at the City Ground. The 21-year-old signed for Benfica last summer, but he failed to break into their side and he now provides Forest with depth in midfield.

Tiago Silva

Silva became Lamouchi's first signing at Forest when he joined last week on a two-year deal. The 26-year-old has joined from Feirense following their relegation from the Portuguese Primeira Liga last season.

The midfielder said on Instagram that he is counting down the days until his first game at the City Ground as he prepares for the new season.

Silva adds depth to Forest's midfield options much like Semedo, but Silva also has experience on his side. The Portuguese is small in stature, but he has an excellent first touch and is dynamic in possession which means he should be an asset for Lamouchi's side next season.

Elsewhere, Forest midfielder Adlene Guedioura is yet to return to Forest as he is currently representing Algeria at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The 33-year-old shared an image on Instagram of him celebrating his side's 3-0 success over Guinea in the quarter finals, with Algeria now facing Ivory Coast in the quarter-finals.

Algeria's run in the competition means he will be late re-starting training with Forest, but he shouldn't mind that too much if Algeria manage to go all the way in the competition.
