Nottingham Forest made it four games unbeaten in the Championship as they shared the spoils with Gary Rowett's Stoke City at the weekend in a goalless draw.

The draw has seen the Reds slip out of the play-off positions but they head into the international break in a good run of form and they will firmly believe that they can keep the pressure on the promotion chasing sides.

Aitor Karanka's side travel to face relegation threatened Hull City after the international set of fixtures, where they will be full of confidence and will be hopeful of maintaining their unbeaten run.

Forest midfielder Jack Colback feels that his side are slowly building some momentum ahead of a busy festive period.

"We seem to have played a lot of the teams in the top half and we have done well. We have still only lost two games," said the on-loan midfielder in an interview with the Nottingham Post.

"I think that is really good form. We went to Leeds and played well and should have got the win, with their goal, which was a blatant handball."

The 29-year-old has praised the influence of Aitor Karanka since he arrived at the club and Colback will be hoping to play a vital part in their promotion push this season.

"But we moved on from that by beating Sheffield United and we could have nicked it against Stoke. We are feeling very positive."

"I think since the manager came in last season, he has got the team looking solid and defensively well organised."

The Verdict:

Nottingham Forest are certainly building some momentum and they will be a huge threat to their promotion rivals this season.

Their attacking talent is amongst one of the best in the Championship and if they can keep the likes of Colback and Grabban fit, then I have no doubt in saying that Forest will be in a play-off position at the end of the season in May.
