Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka has told Paul Taylor of the Nottingham Post that he 'hasn't heard anything' in relation to continued rumours of a move for Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo.

The Reds have been credited this weekend with showing an interest in the Liverpool man, who spent much of last season on loan with Fulham, but Forest manager Karanka believes there is nothing in it, and continued to drill home the club is working on signing a right back at the moment.

"I do not know what the market will have for us, before the window closes. But right now, the only player we are trying to bring in is the full-back." said Karanka.

Karanka did conceded though that market is open and that his club remain 'open to possibilities', insinuating that if the right player does become available, then he will indeed make a move them if necessary.

Ojo, who is still only 21, is not expected to feature for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side this season after a summer of heavy recruitment at Anfield has seen Ojo and various other youngsters such as Ben Woodburn, pushed further down the pecking order.

Forest themselves have embarked on a massive recruitment drive over the summer, with the likes of Joao Carvalho and Diogo Goncalves joining Lewis Grabban - amongst others - in signing on at the City Ground.

Forest fans, what do you make of this? Would Ojo be a good signing? Let us know in the comments!
