According to The Nottingham Post, Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen has hailed Dani Pinillos' late equaliser against Derby County as a major lift in the battle for survival.

Cohen described the sudden change in emotion, from being on the verge of dropping into the relegation zone because of a defeat to East Midlands rivals Derby County to staying outside the bottom three and earning a dramatic last gasp point.

The 30-year-old now hopes that this can prove to be a platform for Forest to stay up.

Cohen said:

"It is something that can give us a huge boost.

"Everyone would have been pretty happy with the way that we played, but losing to Derby and being in the relegation zone would have overshadowed everything else completely.

"That goal, that moment turned what would have been into a tough few weeks into a more positive mood."

Chris Cohen also praised the goalscorer Dani Pinillos, saying:

"It was one of those moments that we have had a few of over the years.

"But for him to set up one goal and then score a last minute equaliser?

"I told Dani it is something he should remember forever.

"It was an unbelievable moment.

"It prompted unbelievable scenes and a lot of emotion, obviously."
