Nottingham Forest will look to continue their strong form when they take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park tonight.

A 3-2 win at Stoke City on Friday temporarily lifted the Reds to the top of the Championship, although they fell to third after the weekend fixtures were played.

Nevertheless, it's been a brilliant start to life as manager for Sabri Lamouchi and he appears to have everyone pulling in the same direction.

And, summer signing Yuri Ribeiro took to Twitter to send a message to the fans ahead of tonight's game, by stating he is 'Ready', along with a short clip of him in action against Arsenal in the League Cup defeat last week.

Whether this update is a hint that he is going to start later on remains to be seen, because Forest do have a problem in defence with Michael Dawson injured.

Jack Robinson could move centrally to accommodate Ribeiro at full-back, although Chema and Tobias Figueiredo are more natural replacements for the experienced centre-back.

However, Forest have won, and kept clean sheets, in both games the ex-Benfica man has played this season in the Championship.

The verdict

This is another challenge for Forest tonight but they will approach it with real confidence as they have been fantastic on the road this season.

Lamouchi has give the team a clear way of playing and they are resolute and dangerous on the counter.

Ribeiro has enjoyed a decent start to his career in England, although he will be hoping for more minutes moving forward. But, there is fierce competition for places with Forest and it's down to players to step up when chances come their way.
