Nottingham Forest man edging closer to joining Derby County

Published

on

Nottingham Forest captain Henri Lansbury is on the verge of joining bitter rivals Derby County, according to WD Sport via sources close to the club.

The article states that Premier League club Watford, who were also linked with the Reds ace, have switched their attention to Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra, as Lansbury is on the verge of joining the Rams.

The 26-year old recently held talks with the Hornets, and even visited their training ground in London Colney over a potential move.

However, sources close to the media outlet have been told that the playmaker is  close to a deal to join the Pride Park club, ditching the red and white of Forest for the black and white of Derby.

Derby sit 7th in the Championship table, whereas Forest continue to struggle in 20th position, just two points off the drop zone to League One.

So…What do you think Forest fans? Is Henri Lansbury going to leave the City Ground?

Derby fans…do you even need him? Leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
