Nottingham Forest's new signing Saidy Janko has already spoken of a potential permanent move to the City Ground.

The loan signing, who joined on a season long deal from Porto this summer, has made three appearances for the Reds and has seemingly slotted in with ease under manager Aitor Karanka.

And now, according to a report by the Nottingham Post, Janko is already hinting at making his move from the Portuguese giants a permanent one at the end of the season.

"At the moment I am just here to make the team better; to get the points on the board and get us up the table into the play-off places. But yes, it would be an option for me, it would be a possibility, yes.” said Janko when pressed on if he would welcome a permanent switch.

Janko also added his thoughts on the talent within the Forest squad at the moment, and firmly believes that the club can challenge for promotion, insisting that 'that is the aim' when asked about the current goals for the season for the Reds.

Forest have won their last two games against Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday respectively, with Janko playing a key role in both wins. He will be hoping that both his and his team's form can continue in the busy run up to Christmas.
