Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest have made a loan bid for Watford starlet Jerome Sinclair amid interest from Ipswich Town and Brentford, according to the Daily Mail.

The former Liverpool starlet joined Watford in the summer, however, he has been unable to break into the first team making only five Premier League appearances this season for Walter Mazzarri's side.

The impressive performances of Isaac Success and Stefano Okaka have seen Jerome Sinclair falling down the pecking order, as he has become increasingly frustrated due to a lack of first team opportunities.

Watford are considering sending the 20-year-old forward on loan which has attracted the attention of a number of Championship sides.

It was initially believed that Brentford was leading the chase for Jerome Sinclair as a potential replacement for Scott Hogan, however, Nottingham Forest are hoping to steal a march on Brentford and Ipswich.

Nottingham Forest has been the first side to officially make a loan offer to Watford in an attempt to acquire Jerome Sinclair's services on a temporary basis.

If Nottingham Forest are going to secure Sinclair's services, they will have to move quickly as they now face time constraints before the window closes.
