Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are among a host of clubs interested in signing Hartlepool United defender Harrison Webster, according to TEAMtalk.

The 17-year-old is a man in demand after a series of impressive performances this season, with Hartlepool looking likely to lose their young prospect.

The left-sided defender has already been training with Wolves before, and with his contract at Victoria Park expiring this summer, Nuno Santo's men remain interested in a move.

Which manager signed each of these 15 Forest players?

But according to TEAMtalk, Leeds, who have also had Webster in for training, are set to be joined by the likes of Nottingham Forest, Sunderland, Burnley and Bristol City in the queue for the defender's signature.

Hartlepool will be keen to keep hold of one of their most prized assets, but whether they can convince the defender to stay amid reported interest from some very high-profile clubs remains to be seen.

Forest and Leeds are two clubs that have developed plenty of talented youngsters over the years, and if Wesbter was move to either club, then he'd be hopeful of following in some players' footsteps.

The Verdict

Webster looks like an exciting player who has a big future ahead of him.

Forest and Leeds are two massive clubs, and Marcelo Bielsa and Sabri Lamouchi are two managers who like to give youth a chance.

With Matty Cash and Joe Worrall both coming through the ranks and becoming key players for Forest, I think a move to the City Ground would be best for him.
