Nottingham Forest linked with move for Bolton Wanderers star

Championship side Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for Bolton Wanderers striker Zach Clough, according to journalist Paul Taylor.

The 21-year-old, who can play up front or just behind the striker, is one of Bolton’s most prized assets.

Clough has scored nine goals so far this season and the club faced a flurry of interest in him over the summer from the likes of Fulham, but could potentially lose him this afternoon.

Clough burst onto the scene two years ago with an impressive performance in the FA Cup against Liverpool, and is undoubtedly one of the hottest prospects in League One.

Bolton did well to hang onto him this year, but with Forest looking desperate to land a striker before the deadline, they could be forced into letting him make the move back up into the Championship.
