Nottingham Forest and Swansea City are among the sides interested in signing Goncalo Paciencia, according to reports emerging from Portugal.
Portuguese media outlet O Jogo is reporting that a host of clubs are chasing FC Porto striker Paciencia, including Nottingham Forest, who have recently been busy in the Portuguese market.
Forest have already swooped to sign two players from Benfica this summer, snapping up winger Joao Carvalho in a club record £13.2m deal and Diogo Goncalves on loan with an option to buy.
They also signed Portuguese defender Tobias Figueiredo on a permanent deal from Sporting CP following a successful half-season loan spell at The City Ground.
Having raided two Portuguese giants in Sporting Lisbon and Benfica, Nottingham Forest are lining up a move for Porto forward Paciencia.
The 23-year-old came through the academy at Porto but has mainly been sent out on loan to the likes of Academica, Olympiacos, Rio Ave and Vitoria de Setubal.
As well as Nottingham Forest and Swansea, the once-capped Portugal international is also attracting interest from Serie A pair Genoa and Sampdoria and Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
With one year left on his contract at Porto, the Portuguese giants will let him go for €7m.
Paciencia is highly rated by Porto but is unlikely to get much game time behind Vincent Aboubakar and Moussa Marega.
A move away could be wise at this stage of his career and the growing Portuguese contingent at Wolves is likely to interest him.
He could be the striker they desperately need but maybe Forest should swoop for a proven Championship goal scorer instead.
