Forest manager Stuart Pearce is keen to bring in the 19-year-old Sierra Leone born midfielder, and is eyeing a potential loan move for the Chelsea starlet.

Chalobah spent half of the season at Forest in the 2013/14 season under Billy Davies, and he racked up 12 appearances for the club, scoring two in the process.

The England under-21 played for Middlesbrough in the Championship last season, amassing 18 appearances and scoring one.

Pearce has experience of managing Chalobah in the England under-21 set up, and the 52-year-old is eager to rekindle their reunion at the Championship club.
