Nottingham Forest join chase to secure deal for in-demand striker, scouts sent to watch

Nottingham Forest are the latest club to enter the race for Grimsby Town striker Omar Bogle, according to the Grimsby Telegraph.
Omar Bogle has been the standout performer for Grimsby Town this season after they returned to the Football League via the play-offs last year.
Birmingham-born Bogle has been prolific in non-league and is replicating that form in the Football League now. He has already notched eight goals this season.
Wigan were reportedly considering a £1m January move for the 23-year-old, who had youth stints with West Brom, Birmingham and Celtic.
The Grimsby Telegraph are now reporting that Nottingham Forest have also been monitoring Bogle and have watched him on a number of occasions this season.
Forest have been impressed with what they’ve seen of the striker and this could prompt a bidding war between them and Wigan in January.
Grimsby will be desperate to keep their star man but a big money move will be hard to refuse in January.
Nottingham Forest fans – what do you think? Would Bogle be a good signing? Is he ready to make the step up?
