Nottingham Forest forward Zach Clough has turned up the heat ahead of next weekend's local grudge match with Derby County by insisting he would love 'to silence' the Derby fans once again.

In a report by the Nottingham Post, the former Bolton man speaks of his joy at bagging in the big game last season, giving him a memory which will stick with him for a long time, as well as a celebration which forever endeared him to the Reds fans.

Clough is quoted as saying: “I did enjoy the last derby game – that was a dream start for me. Hopefully something similar will happen again. I would love another goal against them, that’s for sure,” said Clough.

“The fans here are really good, they give us tremendous backing in every game and we know that we are going to go to Derby as well, with some outstanding support. We are looking forward to the game. The atmosphere will be incredible again.” added Clough.

Forest are hoping to return from the international break and take the three points from their most fierce rivals in the Midlands, with the club looking to kick on under Mark Warburton following a 2-1 win over Sheffield United before the break.
