The transfer window has only recently opened but there are already loads of transfer rumours about Nottingham Forest.

The Reds have been linked with three players from Peterborough United, who finished just shy of the League One play-offs this season.

According to various media reports, Aitor Karanka holds an interest in Posh winger Gwion Edwards, red-hot striker Jack Marriott and assist king Marcus Maddison.

We at FLW asked Nottingham Forest fans which Peterborough player they wanted to sign and here are the results of that poll.

Nottingham Forest fans voted overwhelmingly in favour of snapping up goal scorer Marriott.

After he netted 33 goals in all competitions for Posh this season, it is no surprise that Forest fans are keen to sign the 23-year-old, who could improve upon current options Daryl Murphy, Ben Brereton and Apostolos Vellios.

69% would grab the former Luton striker if they could only get one, while 23% would choose Maddison.

The 24-year-old plays in a variety of attacking midfield positions and his contribution of 10 goals and 21 assists have not gone unnoticed, especially after Peterborough transfer listed their star midfielder.

And just 8% want Edwards after the 25-year-old scored six goals and added three assists for his side this year.
