Nottingham Forest star Hildeberto Pereira could soon make his comeback from a shoulder injury, according to the Nottingham Post.
Forest’s caretaker manager Gary Brazil has confirmed that Pereira is back in training and could be named in the match day squad for tomorrow’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Brighton and Hove Albion at the City Ground.
“He’s been training this week and has looked bright.
“Unfortunately he was unavailable for Wigan, which was disappointing because he had just really started to get his act together and had played really well in the Under-23 game against Hull.
“If it wasn’t for the injury, I think he would have been involved in some capacity at Wigan.”
However, there is less positive injury news elsewhere as Brazil confirmed that defensive trio Matt Mills, Michael Mancienne and Jack Hobbs all remain sidelined for this weekend’s match.
Forest prepare to play high-flying Brighton with just four points separating them from the drop zone so Pereira’s imminent return will act as a huge boost.
