According to The Nottingham Post, Nottingham Forest caretaker manager Gary Brazil and defender Danny Fox have both backed Mustapha Carayol to be the man to inspire the club to safety.
This weekend’s 0-0 draw with Wigan Athletic meant that Forest were without a win in four but they maintained a six point gap above the relegation zone.
This is still too close for comfort for Forest fans and they will be hoping that the club can pull away in their next few matches, with three of the next four fixtures being played at home.
And now Fox and Brazil believe that Mustapha Carayol could be their surprise saviour after an impressive display against Wigan.
“I think Muzzy is a top player.
“If fans could see him in training every day, they would see that he is one of the best performers every single day.”
Fox also drew a comparison with West Ham star Michail Antonio whilst Brazil echoed this by saying that Carayol has the ability but needs more confidence.
