Nottingham Forest coach Brian Eastick has cooled links with Forest and a loan move for Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha, reports the Nottingham Post.
Zaha has captured the interest of several clubs as it begins to look as if the England under-21 international will be loaned out again.
New Forest manager Stuart Pearce knows Zaha well from his time managing the England Under-21s.
Coach Brian Eastick told the Nottingham Post: “I don’t take any notice of rumours.”
“Obviously we know him very well, because we have worked with him with the development sides and the Under-21 team, within the England set-up.
“But put it this way, he will not be part of the squad at Tranmere tomorrow (in the Capital One Cup).”
Forest beat Blackpool 2-0 to begin their Championship campaign.
