Nottingham Forest made it three league defeats in a row when they fell to a 3-1 reverse at home to Fulham.

The Cottagers took the lead through Aboubakar Kamara but Forest equalised with a Daryl Murphy header.

However, a sublime free-kick from Stefan Johansen and a late goal from Neeskens Kebano piled the pressure on Forest manager Mark Warburton.

Fans are already losing patience with the Forest boss because their side keeps making the same mistakes, game after game.

Last night was no different, with the Reds having good spells of possession but conceding goals with ease.

Speaking to the club's official site after the game, the ex-Rangers manager said it's the small details that are costing his side.

It is the really fine margins that are hurting us at the moment but that is football and we can't have any excuses. If we don't take our chances and if we don't defend our goal then we're going to keep paying the price.

He also revealed he wasn't too disheartened with the performance. “My frustration is that we want them to get rewards for playing well as they have tonight.

The Verdict

Worryingly for Forest fans, they keep making the same mistakes and it needs to stop. Ideally, Warburton will sacrifice elements of his passing game to create a more solid outlook.

Clearly, the defenders can't cope with the way the team sets up and with the window not opening for months Warburton quite simply have to work with what he's got, and that means change is needed.

The style of play is admirable and also does suit their attacking talent, but it's all about finding a balance which Forest need to do as soon as possible.
