Stuart Peace will be backed in the transfer market this summer as he looks to gain promotion from the Sky Bet Championship.
The Nottingham Post is reporting that chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi is ready to put his financial weight behind the new manager and add to an already talented squad.
A new striker is thought to be at the top of Pearce’s shopping list as he returns to the club where he was known as “psycho”.
Pearce joined Nottingham Forest in 1985 and spent twelve years at the City Ground.
Al Hasawi has been generous with previous managers when it comes to transfer budgets and he will hope Pearce can bring in players of real quality this summer to help Forest reach their goal of promotion next season.
