Nottingham Forest remain busy in terms of signing players despite the January window coming to a close last week.

The men from the City Ground certainly left it late in terms of signing players during the market but they did deliver when it came to the crunch.

A host of players arrived on the final day and now it looks as though they're snapping up some frees with former Premier League midfielder Ben Watson coming in.

Watson has played for the likes of Watford and Wigan during his career in the top flight with him winning the FA Cup with the latter courtesy of his famous late winner against Manchester City in the final.

The club will be looking for that kind of success in the long-term for sure, but in the meantime they have announced the deal on their official Twitter account:

The midfielder has signed a fairly long-term deal, then, and he'll be looking for that period to herald a new, successful time at the club.

It also further underlines the idea that Aitor Karanka has wanted to add some more experience and steel to his midfield options for the rest of the season and the coming campaigns.
