Freedman's side are to battle the Owls for the Spurs pair

The pair have both been on trial at Dougie Freedman's Nottingham Forest side over the past week, however they will face competition from fellow Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday.

McEneff, 19, has also spent time on trial at Stuart Gray's Sheffield Wednesday  - however as of yet it is uncertain where the pair will end up plying their trade next season.

McEneff is a midfielder, whilst McQueen is a defender - and it seems as if the pair are going to be sent out on loan by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino next season, to help give them first-team football and ultimately mature and develop as footballers.

However, the duo's contracts expire at the end of the season and it remains to be seen whether the north London club will renew them, thus meaning they could leave the club on free transfers as a opposed to a loan deal.
