Nottingham Forest are bracing themselves for a bid from Arsenal for teenage sensation Ben Brereton, according to a report in the Nottingham Post.
The 17-year-old starlet has made a huge impression at the City Ground since breaking into the team earlier in the campaign, and now Arsenal appear to be the latest club to register their interest, with a reported £10m ready to be tabled.
Brereton scored his first goal for the Reds in a home win against Aston Villa, and his stock has continued to rise since then, with a string of impressive performances for the Nottingham outfit.
However, Premier League interest is inevitable with any young talent, and Forest will no doubt be readying themselves for a summer of batting back bids for the youngster. Forest have already parted company with Ollie Burke this season, another home grown product, and the loss of Brereton would surely be a disappointment to fans.
Forest recorded a crucial win yesterday to ease their relegation fears as Mark Warburton tries to ensure the club does not drop back into the third tier.
Forest fans, what do you think? Is £10m enough for this player? Let us know in the comments!
